Artist Beth Bailey is a member of Rochester’s Eclipse Task force and she was inspired by the energy of the group to create a series of artworks celebrating the total solar eclipse. Several of her designs specifically highlight Rochester and the Finger Lakes, while others reflect the wonder of the event in a variety of artistic styles.
This artwork was created to celebrate the 2017 Total Solar Eclipse on August 21, 2017, at the University of Missouri, on the center line of the path of totality.
Canvas pieces are printed canvas wrapped on a one-inch sturdy pine frame. (These pieces are ordered on request and can take up to two weeks for delivery)
